Titles

In our groups we set each other different tasks to complete over the next few days, the task I was given was to look at different fonts for the main title and the following crediting titles.

Firstly I looked at the different types of fonts that we could use for example Sans Serif or just Serif fonts, I put a selection of them next to each other all spelling out the word 'Evangeline' I then compared what ones looked like they would be remotely suitable for the genre. I came to the conclusion using a Sans Serif font would be more suitable because it looked 'witcheyer' and more old fashioned. I then compared them to other fonts that were of the same style,
from here I decided on the two that i thought looked the best (the 3rd and 5th ones down left and right) I then showed these to the other members in my group and asked them which one they agreed with, ending up with the outcome that the 3rd one looked the best. I then looked at what types of font would be best, for example bold or italic. I decided that bold looked better because it made the title stand out better.

We had discussed in class using a symbol to replace one of the letters. to show what this would look like i did a rough sketch of it on paint but in the final thing i would do it in photoshop and save it as an image as it would look more professional, our final outcome for the main title text is this...
the font is Andalus and it will be used throughout the titles, meaning it will also be used for titles such as 'Staring by Sam Bellman, Olivia Plumpton and Sophie Frain'.
